Rivals.com Rankings:

Favorite Food: hot wings

Favorite Drink: strawberry soda

Favorite movie: Facing the Giant

Favorite music type/artist: Hip-Hop/R&B Kanye West

Favorite Female Celebrity: Stacey Dash

Favorite NFL Player: "Donovan McNabb or Marvin Harrison. Donovan has heart. He's a hard working guy and a tough dude. Marvin is quiet. He doesn't saying nothing, he plays. He lets game speak for him."

Favorite hobbies: Playing sports. Varsity basketball and baseball.

Role Model: "My dad. He helps me out with everything. I try to do everything he does. He teaches me right from wrong. To be in the right position. Some people go wrong without a male role model around. It teaches you how to be a man and a mother can't. He's really happy for me. He just wants the best for me."

Best sports memory: "Playing Freemont. Had three touchdowns, 258 yards receiving and we clinched the coliseum league with that game. Went undefeated. Senior year."

First time he knew he was good: "When I moved up to my 10th grade year and I played on the 2006 Championship team. I moved up and I started. I was a kid then but I was beating the older dudes that were 18 and men. I felt like I could compete. The next year I did better and I knew I could do it. I could compete for a spot. I had to take the chance to work hard and I did and it paid off."

On eventually moving to Arizona: "I'm really not worried about that. My dad taught me about the real world. I barely see him because of work. He stays in another house down the street with his girlfriend. I'm in this house with my brothers holding the house down. It won't be that difficult. Not at work or down here. My brother is 15 and my other brother is 13. While my dad's gone I'm the man of the house. He taught me what to do. My mom's in the picture. I don't live with her but I see her. She comes to the games and everything thought."

On his decision to attend ASU: "First reason I decided is that I've been liking the school. Florida State was my top school then ASU and then UCLA. My going with my team (to ASU) for the homecoming game, it was just the best choice for me. Football, academics, good population. Just the same as California. Everybody is family. The day of the game there, it was amazing. It wasn't an official visit but I walked around with my teammates. I always liked ASU. I think I used to just see them on TV. The whole stadium would be rocking. No other stadium rocks like that. Even when you're watching it at home it makes you feel like you're right there. Even though I wasn't committed, they made me feel like part of their family."

On his goals for the coming year: Right now I'm just trying to work hard in school. Make sure I keep my grades up so I'll be ready for college. I was talking to Omar (Bolden) when I was out there on my official visit and he said the other spot is open since Justin Tryon left so I got to try to take it while it's open right now. Wherever the coaches need me at though I'm going to play."

On his signing day plans: Nothing really. I will just come rep ASU to the fullest. No jokes, nothing. I think we might celebrate with my family but I actually have a game on that same date. After the game we might celebrate or maybe the day after."
