Quarterback Jacory Harris completed 19 of 23 passes for 296 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Bulls to their 28th straight win in a 55-14 romp over South Dade in the state Class 6A quarterfinals. The defending champions will take on Deerfield Beach Friday in the semifinals at the Orange Bowl. Deerfield Beach is the last team to defeat the Bulls, in the 2005 state semifinals. Harris increased his season totals to 2,969 passing yards and 45 TDs. Junior running back Daquan Hargrett carried seven times for 134 yards and three scores.
2. St. Xavier Cincinnati, Ohio 15-0 2 End of season
Darius Ashley carried 36 times for a Division 1 title game record 271 yards and two scores as the Bombers won their second state championship in three years with a 27-0 blanking of Mentor.
3. South Panola Batesville, Miss. 14-0 3 George County
Darius Barksdale carried 30 times for 399 yards and three TDs and added a fourth score on a 45-yard INT return as the Tigers improved their national-best win streak to 74 with a 43-28 5A semifinal win over Olive Branch.
4. Katy Katy, Texas 13-0 4 Clements
Katy scored 23 straight points in a 30-14 win over Pasadena Memorial in the 5A Div. II Region III semifinals.
5. Prattville Prattville, Ala. 14-0 5 Spain Park
The defending 6A champion Lions advanced to their third title game in four years after ousting McGill-Toolen 21-0.
6. De La Salle Concord, Calif. 11-0 7 San Ramon California
The Spartans were idle last weekend.
7. Central Catholic Pittsburgh, Pa. 14-0 9 Harrisburg
QB Tino Sunseri led Central Catholic to the AAAA semifinals with a 44-6 victory over Erie Cathedral Prep.
8. Pahokee Pahokee, Fla. 13-0 12 Newberry
The defending 2B champion Blue Devils advanced to their fifth straight final with a 41-13 romp over Frostproof.
9. Northside Warner Robins, Ga. 13-0 13 Tucker
The defending AAAA champion Eagles hiked their win streak to 28 games with a 30-0 shutout of Rome in the quarterfinals.
10. Booker T. Washington Miami, Fla. 12-0 10 Armwood
The Tornadoes advanced to the 5A semifinals for the fifth straight season by outlasting Dwyer 7-6.
11. Jenks Jenks, Okla. 13-1 15 End of season
The Trojans avenged their only loss with a 42-24 win over Fab 50-ranked Union in the 6A state championship.
12. Don Bosco Prep Ramsey, N.J. 12-0 18 End of season
The Ironmen scored 28 points in the third quarter en route to a 42-14 victory over Fab 50-ranked St. Peter's Prep for the Non-Public Group 4 state title.
13. Westfield Chantilly, Va. 14-0 17 Woodbridge
Mike Glennon, an N.C. State commit, guided Westfield on a 63-yard scoring drive in the closing minutes , leading Westfield to a 24-21 victory over Oscar Smith in a clash of Fab 50 teams. Glennon completed 18 of 34 passes for 270 yards and a TD. Oscar Smith sophomore sensation Phillip Sims completed 26 of 43 passes for 480 yards and three scores that put his team ahead 21-17 midway through the fourth quarter. Westfield will face Woodbridge in the Division 6 state final. Oscar Smith also was in the Fab 50 last week and will likely return if Westfield wins the state title.
14. Bastrop Bastrop, La. 14-0 20 Archbishop Shaw
The Rams advanced to their third consecutive 4A championship game with a 34-14 win over Benton.
15. Byrnes Duncan, S.C. 15-0 22 End of season
The Rebels won their fifth state title in the last six years with a 48-9 rout of Summerville in the 4A-Div. 1 finals.
16. Centennial Corona, Calif. 12-1 23 Santiago
The Huskies avenged last season's quarterfinal loss with a 68-14 rout of Chaparral in the CIF Southern Section Inland Division semifinals.
17. Maryville Maryville, Tenn. 14-0 19 Maplewood
The Rebels rolled up 511 total yards in a 48-21 victory over Sullivan South in the 4A semifinals.
18. Armwood Seffner, Fla. 13-0 24 Booker T. Washington
The Hawks scored their second season win over defending 4A champion Plant with a 36-7 quarterfinal victory.
19. Birmingham Lake Balboa, Calif. 12-1 28 Carson
Milton Knox rushed for 186 yards and scored four TDs in a 42-6 L.A. City Section semifinal victory over Crenshaw.
20. Poly Long Beach, Calif. 12-1 30 Crespi
Poly's defense delivered big-time in a 2-0 victory over Fab 50-ranked Lutheran in the CIFSS Pac-5 semifinals.
21. St. Xavier Louisville, Ky. 14-0 21 Trinity
The Tigers dominated Meade County 31-3 in the 6A semifinals to set up a season rematch against defending champion Trinity.
22. Eden Prairie Eden Prairie, Minn. 14-0 25 End of season
Eden Prairie won the state's top divisional title a week ago with a 50-21 win over Cretin-Derham Hall.
23. Rockhurst Kansas City, Mo. 13-0 26 End of season
Rockhurst wrapped up its season on Nov. 23 with a 28-9 state championship win over Mehlville.
24. Dakota Macomb, Mich. 14-0 31 End of season
Dakota concluded Its season with a 41-21 championship game victory over Stevenson a week ago.
25. Osceola Kissimmee, Fla. 13-0 32 Bartram Trail
The Kowboys broke a fourth-quarter tie and outlasted Chamberlain 14-7 in the 5A quarterfinals.
26. Union Tulsa, Okla. 13-1 14 End of season
Union was unable to rally from a 28-10 halftime deficit and fell to Jenks 42-24 in the 6A championship game.
27. North Shore Galena Park, Texas 13-0 33 Hightower
The Mustangs kept Cy-Fair's dynamic rushing duo of Sam McGuffie and Wesley Cobb on the sidelines by rushing for 441 yards in a 45-31 win in the 5A Division I Region III semifinals Friday. Senior QB Jeremiah McGinty ran for 172 yards and a TD on 17 carries, while DeAundre Jones added a score and 145 yards on 12 carries as North Shore scored on its first six possessions to take a 38-17 lead heading into the fourth quarter. McGinty also threw two TD passes to Excelle Osborne as the Mustangs rolled up 535 yards of offense and 27 first downs while the defense held the McGuffie to 93 yards. Hightower (10-3) is up next in the Region III title game on Saturday at Rice Stadium.
28. Parkland Allentown, Pa. 14-0 40 Ridley
Parkland advanced to the state semifinals 44-12 over Philadelphia Public League champ George Washington.
29. Trinity Euless, Texas 12-1 NR Bowie
Trinity gained revenge for an early-season loss to Permian with a 38-14 win to end the Panthers' unbeaten season.
30. Carroll Southlake, Texas 11-2 6 End of season
Riley Dodge threw only eight passes vs. Abilene before leaving with a shoulder injury as the Dragons fell 22-21.
31. Crespi Encino, Calif. 11-2 NR Poly
Crespi won 13-10 in overtime over Servite of Anaheim in the CIFSS Pac-5 Division playoffs and will play Long Beach Poly in Saturday's championship.
32. Naperville North Naperville, Ill. 13-1 35 End of season
The Huskies won the state's highest-classification title with a 46-19 victory over Glenbard North two weeks ago.
33. Ridley Folsom, Pa. 13-0 38 Parkland
Andrew Hodges rushed for 153 yards and two TDs as Ridley defeated Henderson 19-0 to claim the District 1 AAAA title and earn a berth in the state semifinals.
34. Lutheran Orange, Calif. 10-2 34 End of season
The Lancers fumbled less than two yards away from their own end zone and Poly recovered for the safety in Lutheran's 2-0 loss in the Pac-5 semifinals.
35. Destrehan Destrehan, La. 14-0 46 Acadiana
The Wildcats demolished upstart Westgate 59-7 in the Class 5A semifinals, sending top-seeded Destrehan into Saturday's state championship game against Acadiana at the Louisiana Superdome. It's Destrehan's first appearance in the 5A title game since 1993. Destrehan, which led 38-0 at halftime, produced 574 yards of offense while limiting explosive Westgate to 194 yards of offense. Jerico Nelson rushed for 133 yards and four touchdowns, and LSU commit Tim Molton had 165 yards receiving and a touchdown. (PelicanPreps.com)
36. Alta Sandy, Utah 13-1 36 End of season
The Hawks won the 5A state title on Nov. 16 with a 19-7 triumph over Layton.
37. Joliet Catholic Joliet, Ill. 13-1 37 End of season
The Hilltoppers captured their 13th overall state title in the 6A title game, defeating Lemont 49-7.
38. Longview Longview, Texas 12-1 49 Pflugerville
Johnny Garrett rushed for 233 yards and four TDs as the Lobos topped Leander 40-21 to advance in the playoffs.
39. Permian Odessa, Texas 12-1 27 End of season
The Panthers don't drop completely out of the Fab 50 after losing to Trinity in the 5A Division I playoffs. They did beat the Trojans the first time around and they also have a win over Abilene.
40. Abilene Abilene, Texas 12-1 NR Hebron
Abilene upset three-time defending state champion Carroll 22-21 in the 5A playoffs.
41. Coffman Dublin, Ohio 13-1 39 End of season
The Shamrocks ended up giving Fab 50 No. 2 St. Xavier its toughest playoff game, losing by just 10-7.
42. Everett Everett, Mass. 13-0 43 End of season
Isaac Johnson, who rushed for 129 yards and two TDs during regulation, made a game-saving defensive deflection as Everett held on to defeat Dartmouth 36-28 in OT in the Eastern Mass Division 1 Super Bowl.
43. Wayne Hills Wayne, N.J. 12-0 NR End of season
Wayne Hills pushed its win streak to a state-best 40 games with a 27-7 victory over rival Wayne Valley for the North Jersey Section 1, Group 3 championship.
44. Skyline Sammamish, Wash. 14-0 NR End of season
The Spartans won the 3A title by rallying from a 28-7 deficit to top previously unbeaten O'Dea 42-35.
45. Quince Orchard Gaithersburg, Md. 13-0 NR Arundel
The top team in the Maryland state rankings, Quince Orchard earned a spot in this week's 4A final with a 24-7 victory over Thomas Johnson.
46. Bettendorf Bettendorf, Iowa 13-0 47 End of season
Bettendorf won the state's largest-classification championship three weeks ago.
47. Montgomery Bell Academy Nashville, Tenn. 13-0 48 End of season
The Big Red defeated Brentwood Academy 12-0 two weeks ago in the Division II state championship. .
48. Trinity Louisville, Ky. 12-2 NR St. Xavier
The 17-time state champion Shamrocks advanced to their seventh state final in the last eight years by outscoring Boone County 56-21 in the 6A semifinals.
49. Arrowhead Hartland, Wis. 14-0 50 End of season
Arrowhead defeated Homestead 31-7 two weeks ago in Wisconsin's largest-class state championship.
50. Brophy Prep Phoenix, Ariz. 11-2 NR Desert Vista
The Broncos avenged an early-season loss to Fab 50-ranked Hamilton with a 24-14 5A Div. II semifinal victory.
