Rivals.com State Rankings Week continues with the unveiling of four more updated rankings for the states of Georgia, Indiana, North Carolina and Oklahoma. The Indiana ranking is a new addition to Rivals.com, and there were plenty of changes in the other states.
Morgantown (N.C.) Freedom receiver Chris Jefferson leaped up the charts from the No. 22 spot to the No. 9 spot in the state. On senior film, Jefferson displays an amazing pair of hands and the ability to run solid routes and separate from defenders. It's no wonder that teams like Boston College, Clemson, Colorado, Vanderbilt and Virginia are fighting for him.
Sapulpa, Okla., receiver Rodney Brown proved that four-star recruit Carl Pendleton isn't the only stud at his school and Brown has pledged to play at Oklahoma State. Currently the Cowboys have commitments from six players, including the highest ranked player in the state to make a decision in athlete Donovan Woods.
In the Georgia Top 50, a few players have proven their worth with strong senior seasons and made nice moves up the chart.
Maybe the most notable change came near the top when linebacker Dana Graydon of Albany Dougherty moved up to the No. 14 spot. Graydon is quickly becoming one of the Southeast's top recruits with Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky and Louisville chasing after him.
Rockmart, Ga., standout back Danny Ware also moved the list at the running back spot and is ranked as the state's No. 34 player but likely will be moved over to the linebacker spot this next ranking period.
"Most schools were recruiting me as a linebacker anyhow so that's cool. I love their style of defense and I think I can make some big plays. I've worked hard to put myself in this position and now I'm going to work even harder to make sure I make the most of it."
