Coming off his visit to Tennessee last week, Lynchburg (Va.) Brookville defensive tackle Korren Kirven is scheduled to see Alabama this weekend before heading to Virginia Tech next weekend. Alabama is also working to get Rivals100 defensive end Channing Ward on campus this weekend. Ward is committed to Ole Miss and set to take his official visit to Oxford next week.
Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III has officially declared for the NFL draft and Baylor is in need of quarterbacks on its roster. The coaching staff had obviously done its homework with several prospects prior to Griffin's move. Now, the staff is hoping that the late case it is making toward Garland's Seth Russell will pay off. El Cajon (Calif.) Christian WR Jason Gaines has Buff quarterback commitment Shane Dillon to thank for his football past and future, and he has Dillon's family to thank for much more. Gaines moved in with Dillon's family after two rough years at Granite Hill High School and will visit Colorado with him this weekend.

IU coach Kevin Wilson and his staff have just a few spots remaining in their 2012 recruiting class and they would like to fill one of those with a cornerback. One prospect they have targeted is Jeffrey Hall from LaPlance (LA) St. Charles Catholic and he'll be on campus this weekend.

It is crunch time for the Iowa coaches as they attempt to put the finishing touches on the Class of 2012. Reistertown (Md.) Franklin WR Ian Thomas is one of the top remaining targets that will be on campus this weekend.

With at least five spots remaining Missouri's 2012 signing class, the Tigers' coaching staff is looking at any and all options to meet that quota. The most recent offer went to Iowa State commit Damien Lawry of Dallas (Texas) Wilmer-Hutchins and he could be among the group visiting Missouri this weekend.
