In football, Wazzu received a pair of verbal commitments from the Jackson twins.




Arizona

In football, the Wildcats received a verbal commitment from offensive lineman Zach Hemmila.



Oregon

In admin, women's sports athletic director Renee Baumgartner resigned to take a position at Syracuse.

In football, tight end Brandon Williams ended his playing career due to a narrow spinal canal.

In men's hoop, former Wake Forest center Tony Woods has transferred to Oregon and will be eligible to play immediately.



Stanford

In women's hoop, the Cardinal received a verbal commitment from center Tess Picknell.



UCLA

In men's hoop, senior point guard Jerime Anderson was arrested for an alleged theft of a laptop computer.



Arizona State

In football, the Sun Devil senior defensive back Omar Bolden is not expected to return for the 2011 season while he recovers from an ACL knee injury.
