Countdown to kickoff #9

With the start of the 2010 season just days away, Warhawk Report looks at the Warhawks this season that could be game changers. Each day leading up to kickoff of the September 11 kickoff against Arkansas, look for an offensive, defensive, or special teams player that could be the difference this season.

No. 9
Jyruss Edwards Running back RS-Fr. 5'11, 186

There is no doubt that all-conference performer Frank Goodin is the number one back for the Warhawks in 2010, but the question remains as to who will play the backup role and prepare for taking over the rushing duties full-time next season. Edwards was the leading rush in Louisiana his junior season, but was limited to just seven games his senior season due to hurricanes and injury, while still managing an 1,100 yard senior season.
