Stokes' father discusses his son's decision
The recruitment of Philadelphia (Pa.) Northeast wide receiver Je'Ron Stokes was one of the most closely followed by Michigan fans in the final weeks before Signing Day. Those efforts were rewarded when the 6-1, 180-pound prospect chose the Wolverines on Wednesday.
A four-star prospect and the nation's No. 14 wide receiver according to Rivals.com, Stokes had been a commitment to Tennessee since last April and never fully de-committed, even after the Volunteers parted ways with head coach Phil Fulmer.
