McBurse seriously considering FIU

Winter Springs High School running back Al-Terek McBurse took his final official visit to FIU before he announces his college decision. Before his visit this weekend the 6 foot, 192-pound McBurse had a top two of Nebraska and Purdue. How did the visit to FIU go?

"It was a nice visit," said McBurse. "I had a lot fun, touring the campus, meeting people and players, going out on the town. They showed me how they do their player meetings. I just tried to get acquainted with the program learn more about the opportunity that would be there for me."

Has FIU been able to move up in consideration?

"Coach Cristobal gave me a whole lot to think about, I can tell you that much. He told me to analyze the total situation and make sure wherever I go that there is a need at the running back position there. That I would have an opportunity and to be confident they would have my back."

What do you know about FIU?

"If I came to FIU there is no question about the position I would play. They have a definite need at running back. Coach Cristobal said I was the number 1 guy on their board regardless of position. FIU is under serious consideration."

McBurse has scheduled a press conference on Wednesday at 11am to announce his decision.
