Top 2010 QB praises UGA environment
Georgia had one of the top 2010 quarterbacks on their campus over the weekend and he liked what he saw. Phillip Sims took in first game between the hedges and he liked what he saw.
"I had been to Georgia before last spring to watch them practice, but this was my first time there for a game and everything was great," said Sims.
"They showed me the school, the game was good, the fans were crazy, and it was everything that I expected it to be. For Georgia, everything you see and hear about on TV and more. The crowd was loud and they just showed they have better talent than Tennessee."
Sims talked about the crowd and passionate Georgia fans a lot, but the UGA coaching staff made a big impression as well.
"The coaches at Georgia are real honest, they put what they have on the table for you, they make it known what they want and want they are looking for, and they are all down to earth."
"I talked to Coach Richt, Coach Ball, Coach Bobo, and Coach Garner during my visit and all of them were great. Coach Ball and Coach Bobo they hope to come up to see me this year before their bowl game, but if not, then they will stop by in January."
"Coach Richt talked to me for a bit and he let me know that I am definitely on Georgia's radar in 2010. He told me that he hopes to see me back down there."
