Whitaker felt the love from Georgia

One of the top juniors in the Peach State traveled up to the University of Georgia from Warner Robins Saturday for the Blackout. Defensive tackle Jeffrey Whitaker already has an offer from the Dawgs and he has been there numerous times, but this time he brought much of his family.

"I brought my brother, my cousins, and my aunt up to Georgia with me this time," said Whitaker. "I wanted to get them up there, so they could see how things were around there. Look I expected, my aunt had a lot of questions."

Before the game, Whitaker and his aunt stepped into Coach [Mark] Richt's office for a visit.

"She and Coach Richt talked a lot and she asked him a lot of questions. I did not really say too much and Coach Richt did not talk to me too much either, but him and my aunt had a good conversation. Coach Richt mentioned academics and life after football to me, but it was really more about them getting to know each other and him answering all of her questions."

Their time with Coach Richt was great and they also got together with Georgia's defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator Rodney Garner as well.
