Taylor taking wait and see approach

Mansfield, TX running back, Stepfan Taylor is no stranger to interviews. As one of the top running backs left on the board for the 09' recruiting season, Taylor receives his fair share of calls from recruiting sites. If you read previous stories done on the young man, he's stayed true to his word throughout the process. For those of you that don't know, he's taking his time.

"Recruiting is going about the same, I'm just getting ready for the upcoming season" said Taylor.

With an offer list that would be envied by just about any other prospect in the country, Taylor knows that his decision is a tough one. With that in mind, he wants to make sure that he makes the right choice when the time is right.

"I'm really looking at waiting until the season is over because I want to focus on a few schools and see how they run their offense. I'll make my decision then, that way I know I'll be making a good choice."

Although the pride of Mansfield, TX has around 20 offers, five schools have piqued his interest more than the others. Taylor hopes to make a decision between those schools when the dust has settled from the 2008 football season.

"Well, I guess you could call it a top five but it's in no particular order. I'm looking at Stanford, Missouri, Louisville, Texas A&M and TCU" said Taylor. "I really just want to focus on how they run their offense and see how they would use me."

Taylor mentioned that he really likes the facilities at TCU and had some nice things to say about the coaching staff. Even with the Frogs making the cut for his final five, the nail biting won't seize among Frog fans until the young man makes his decision and signs on the dotted line for his University of choice.
