An SEC program leads for McCoy

Denzel McCoy is ready for a break out season in 2008. He has hit the summer camps after a solid sophomore campaign and he has already pulled in three offers. Many more programs are showing heavy interest in the junior out of Duluth (GA) and one school out of the SEC has emerged as his early favorite.

"Right now I would have to say that Alabama is my leader," said McCoy in a recent interview. "They by far are my leader right now. I camped over there and they made the experience personal. The coaches talked to me a lot, they showed me around, and most importantly, they offered me a scholarship."

McCoy shined in Tuscaloosa earlier this summer, but he has turned in some other strong performances as well.

"I think I did well and Clemson and Georgia camps too. I was at Clemson and Coach Rumpf taught me some new things. I think I did well in the one-on-ones there too. They invited me to a game, the staff showed me a lot of attention, and I felt in the comfort zone there."
