Davenport may camp in July

The top in-state player remaining on the board of the defending National Champions for the Class of 2009 let it be known that he may be making another visit next month to Baton Rouge.

At this rate, he should get frequent flyer miles for the amount of visits he has made to the LSU campus.

Mansfield High School defensive tackle Chris Davenport is a five-star player according to the latest Rivals.com rankings. The 6-4, 318-pound Davenport is listed as the nation's fourth best defensive tackle and the 18th-best overall player in the country.

"I was not at the first summer camp at LSU in June," Davenport said.
