Evangel's Giles wants to go out as champion

The perennial state and national power Evangel Christian Academy will once again look to raise a state championship trophy this year. Helping head coach John Bachman, Sr. to do this will be many D-1A prospects including Quinn Giles. The WR/DB is versatile, but plays mostly offense with 42 receptions for over 600 yards and five touchdowns in the 2007 season.

"This year we have a bunch of young players back, so we should be able to go all the way (to a state championship)," Quinn said while attending ULM's 7on7 camp.

Giles has been starting at Evangel since he was a freshman. His on the field success he credits to the great environment that Evangel has provided for him, something that he'll once again turn to while transitioning from high school to college. "We have a great coaching staff and alumni that try to help you to be a better player," Quinn said.

Although not yet fully qualified, Giles does carry a 3.5 GPA and plans on taking the ACT soon to become fully eligible.

Currently Giles is receiving interest from Tulane, TCU, Vanderbilt and ULM, and has received an offer from Southern Miss.
