Top100 athlete planning U-M visit

According to Apopka, Fla., head coach Rick Darlington, not many major Division 1 colleges make it to his school in the middle of the state to recruit football players. Maybe that explains why Rivals.com top 100 athlete Jeremy Gallon did not have a single scholarship offer until late April.

The 5-8, 164-pound prospect played quarterback this past fall at Apopka, accumulating nearly 1,700 yards rushing and 1,100 yards receiving. Those numbers earned him first team all-state and District Player of the Year honors in Florida largest classification.
