Athlete one of NC's best in 2010

There's plenty of top-notch talent in the state of North Carolina and that's not limited to the Class of 2010. Athlete Keenan Allen has made a name for himself and already holds three offers.

The 6-foot-2, 182-pound prospect from Greensboro (N.C.) Grimsley runs the 40-yard dash in 4.56 seconds. He already holds offers from Cal, Oregon and Clemson.

"I think I'm going to the California camp and the Clemson camp," Allen said. "My brother actually went to (camps) last year. He signed with Buffalo but that's how (the schools) know me.

Allen said the three schools that have extended verbal offers have talked to his father and are recruiting him as an athlete - leaving his college position up in the air for the time being.

Grimsley is not currently practicing, but Allen is working to prepare himself for his junior campaign.

"I'm just working on everything right now," he explained. "I'm just trying to get faster and stronger."
