TCU an option for Rollison?

One of the nation's top players that remains undecided on his college destination is Sulphur Springs (TX) quarterback Tyrick Rollison. A Rivals 100 member and ranked 41st in the latest ranking, Rollison is holding as steady with seven offers on the table from Arizona, TCU, Nebraska, Florida State, Houston, Kansas and Texas A&M.

Entering his third year as the starter, Rollison turned in statistically one of the state's top seasons in '07 by throwing for over 3,600 yards and 37 scores. He also added over 500 yards on the ground with another 7 scores. For his efforts he was named District 11-4A MVP, and first-team All-State.

Although he hasn't added many offers recently, Rollison says the same teams are still showing heavy interest.

"Probably Oklahoma State and Texas Tech are showing the most interest," he said. "They haven't offered yet. Those two are my favorites because the like to sling the ball around."

Rollison has visited Texas Tech unofficially but he hasn't made any other visits to date.

"I went up to Tech unofficially," he said. "But that's it, I haven't gone anywhere else."

Another close option for Rollison is TCU which is a short drive from Sulphur Springs. Rollison says if other schools don't come through with an offer, meaning his favorites, he could end up in Ft. Worth.

"They offered me during basketball season," he said. "I don't know much about them, but I definitely have an interest. I mean if it came down to it I could see myself playing there if I don't get offers from the others."

Rollison says he's in no rush to make a decision and likely won't decide where he'll play until he makes some additional visits.

"I probably won't decide until I make some official visits."
