Wort one of country's fastest-rising prospects
Perhaps no player in the country has seen his stock rise as fast as New Braunfels (Tex.) linebacker Tom Wort. It was only a few weeks ago that the 6-foot-1, 210 pound junior held written offers from Maryland and Division I-AA Alcorn State. However, things have changed drastically.
Wort is now up to double-digits offers and it doesn't appear to be slowing down. He recently added three more schools to his already impressive list.
"My most recent offers are from Florida, Vanderbilt and Kansas," he said. "I have those and then Oklahoma, Texas A&M, LSU, Maryland, Miami, Missouri and Alcorn State."
There is also another big-time program that appears on the verge of offering the defensive standout.
