Harrell sporting new Fresno State gear

In what appears to be a growing trend this morning, Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Santa Margarita Catholic High School defensive end Logan Harrell is looking nice in his new Fresno State gear. Harrell's father e-mailed this morning to confirm his commitment to Fresno State and sent along a picture of the family on signing day.

"This morning at 7:00 Logan signed a national letter of intent to wear #77 for the Fresno State Bulldogs for the next 4 years," father Robert Harrell said. "We wish him well and want Coach Hill and staff to know we will uphold the Bulldog tradition!"

Harrell is 6-foot-4, 270 pounds and runs the 40-yard dash around 4.7 seconds. The talented defensive end/offensive guard earned All-Trinity League honors following the 2007 season and played this past month in the inaugural Southern California Bowl in Anaheim. Harrell had other offers from Idaho, Idaho State, Montana and Washington State and also visited Washington State in January.
