Nutt pays Hargrave duo a visit

Ole Miss is still the leader for one of the country's top wide receivers.

Hargrave Academy's Andrew Harris confirmed with RebelSports.Net Tuesday afternoon that the Rebels are still his favorite.

Coach Houston Nutt and a trio of Ole Miss Assistants had just left the Hargrave institution where they spent about two hours visiting several top prospects.

"Coach Nutt, Coach (Ron) Dickerson, Coach (Derrick) Nix and Coach (Kim) Dameron just left about thirty minutes ago," Harris said. "The visit was great. Coach Dickerson and the way he deals with the wide receivers is one of the main reasons Ole Miss is still my favorite. I like him a lot. Coach Nutt is great also."

Harris rated his Ole Miss visit an 11 out of 10 two weeks ago and rated his latest trip to Oregon an 8.

"Ole Miss trip was a lot better," Harris said. "I felt a lot more comfortable there."

Harris plans on a trip to Temple this weekend before making his final decision public.

"Coach Nutt and I had a great talk today," Harris said. "He told me he can't wait to get me to Oxford. I didn't commit today, I will probably make my decision public on signing day."

Harris stated that all he has to do to qualify academically is to make two B's in two of his classes this semester.

"I just need two B's and I'm qualified," Harris said. "I already have my test score."

Harris, a 6-foot-4, 195-pound wide receiver with 4.5 speed, did clear one thing up after his visit.

According to Harris he really felt at home at Ole Miss, one of those reasons is current Rebel quarterback Billy Tapp.

"Billy was my high school quarterback my sophomore season," Harris said. "It was great to see him. We had dinner together the first night I arrived. I spent a lot of time with Jevan Sneed also. There is a plan at Ole Miss. We will win a lot of games in the next few years there."
