Four-star athlete Chris Jordan will embark on official visit number one this weekend. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Brentwood (TN) Brentwood Academy standout plans on taking two, maybe three trips, before perhaps making his decision prior to Christmas.

Clemson will entertain the blue-chip back this weekend. What are his thoughts going in?

"I'm excited to see Clemson for the first time since I was there two years ago for the Nike Camp," Jordan told Tigerillustrated.com Monday evening. "I'm excited to see their atmosphere, spend time with the coaches and check out their campus. My mom and dad are coming along."

"Coach (Billy) Napier called me last night and told me about the great academic center they have there," he continued. "I can't wait to see their game against Boston College. I'm probably coming in after our game on Friday and staying through Sunday."

What's the pitch he's getting from the Clemson coaching staff?

"Coach Napier sees me as a big back since they already have a speed back (Andre Ellington) committed," the Rivals250 member shared. "They want to keep that 'thunder and lightning' going so I'd fill in for James Davis if he left."
