Hardy returns as Rebels prepare for LSU

The Ole Miss football team got more than just an extra week before taking on top-ranked LSU. The Rebels also get a big boost with the return of one of their top defenders.

Sophomore defensive end Greg Hardy's indefinite suspensions ended Monday, and Hardy will return to practice, Ole Miss head coach Ed Orgeron said.

Hardy didn't make the trip to Auburn with the team, and Orgeron announced the following Monday that he'd been suspended indefinitely for violating team rules.

"Greg's ready to be back on the team," Orgeron said. "He's done everything I've asked him to."

Hardy's got 8.0 sacks in eight games this season - second most in the SEC.
