Utah four-star concentrates on playoffs

Four-star linebacker Lynn Katoa (6-2, 220, 4.6) from Salt Lake City (Utah) Cottonwood is all about winning and he is helping Cottonwood do just that as his team heads into the state quarter-final game this week.

Katoa has helped his team to 10-1 record and has been an outstanding leader for Cottonwood living up to his reputation as the complete package.

"Lynn has been a breath of fresh air," Cottonwood coach Cecil Thomas said. "He practices like he plays in the game and has been a pleasure to coach.

Even though Katoa is getting double teamed, he has still been able to rack up 66 total tackles, 18 tackles for loss, four pass deflections, four sacks, three blocked kicks and two forced fumbles.

"Lynn had two really good trips to Oklahoma and Colorado," Thomas said. "He liked them both a lot, but he's been really low key about recruiting. He has really been concentrating on his senior season.
