Rivals100 junior wideout making the trip

Philadelphia (Pa.) Northeast junior wide receiver Je'Ron Stokes made a big entrance at his new school earlier this fall when he set a school receiving record in his very first game. Now he is trying to make that same kind of splash on the national recruiting scene.

The 6-foot-1, 178-pound blazer is a member of the Rivals100 to watch in the Class of 2009, and he has already picked up a few offers from Big East schools. He is also hearing from some of the nation's top programs.

While he has spent most of the fall focusing on his senior season, Stokes has taken a few trips to nearby schools. He attended the Penn State-Notre Dame game in September, and will return to Happy Valley this weekend when the Nittany Lions take on Ohio State.
