Elway has co-favorites following trip to ASU

One of the top uncommitted signal-callers in the west, Englewood (Colo.) Cherry Creek High School senior Jack Elway, made his first official visit over the weekend when he and his father, legendary former NFL quarterback John, traveled to Tempe to check out the Arizona State football program.

The 6-foot-3, 200 pound Elway arrived at ASU a night after his Cherry Creek squad lost a close game, 37-34 against Grandview, which was nationally televised on ESPNU.

Even so, two leaders have pushed their way to the forefront of Elway's recruitment, the quarterback said.
