Crenshaw athlete expects second offer soon

This may be a good time to switch Los Angeles (Calif.) Crenshaw standout Clint Floyd (5-10, 172, 4.47) position from wide receiver to athlete. After struggling out of the box Crenshaw decided to move Floyd from his wide receiver spot to quarterback.

After a rough opening start at quarterback, Floyd rebounded and engineered Crenshaw to their first victory of the season.

In Crenshaw's win over Roosevelt, Floyd accounted for over 400 yards of total offense for the 1-3 Cougars.

Floyd threw for over 200 yards and he ran for 200. He also threw for two touchdowns passes and added two more touchdowns on the ground. But the icing the cake for Floyd's gem of a game was when he picked off a pass and took to the house for his fifth touchdown of the game.

On the recruiting trail Arizona State is on board with an offer. Floyd feels that Washington will be next on the table with a scholie opportunity.
