Zander Fabbri enjoys visit to Tucson

A couple of Arizona commits were in town for the Wildcats game against New Mexico, one of whom was Bakersfield Centennial linebacker Zander Fabbri.

Though the UA suffered a narrow loss to the Lobos, Fabbri said he still enjoyed his visit to Tucson.

"It went well," he said. "It wasn't my official; we just didn't have anything to do this weekend. Me, my dad and my friend flew down and sat in the student section. It was crazy."

The 6-foot-1, 245-pound athlete said he was in town long enough to meet up with some of the coaches the day after the game before leaving on Monday morning.
