ASU still after Mays

It appears as though the Junior College scene will continue to be a route that the new Sun Devil regime will target heavily during this recruiting cycle. After finding success in the Juco circuit last season, the Devils are looking to bring in some more non-high school talent.

Compton (Calif.) Community College cornerback standout Brandon Mays last told that he was sitting on four offers with ASU in his top two, but some of California's heavy hitters have come in to play.

"UCLA is my most recent offer," Mays said. "I am very hot on UCLA and Cal's list right now. I am also scratching and sniffing (for an offer from) USC. My name has been put in their ear by my head coach. He talked to Coach [Pete] Carroll and told him that he had some studs down at Compton (Community College) to look out for. He said that he is looking forward to meeting us."
