David Douglas talks commitment

Arizona's 2008 recruiting class is now 11 deep thanks to 6-foot-1, 182-pound McKinney (Texas) McKinney North wide receiver David Douglas making the call to UA assistant Mark Stoops to commit to the Wildcats.

After a junior season in which Douglas caught 83 passes for 1,285 yards and 13 touchdowns, he picked up offers from Arizona, Army and Air Force.

However, he turned down the other two schools to choose the UA.

"I called Coach (Mark) Stoops and told him that I was going to commit," Douglas said. "He was excited. He said the whole staff was excited about it and that he's really excited."
