Is hard hitting safety nearing decision?

Sean Westgate (5-11, 197, 4.66) the hard hitting safety from Oak Park, Calif., has been compared at one time or another with two other hard-hitters in former USC star Matt Grootegood and former Arizona and NFL star Chuck Cecil. As far as hitters go, Westgate is in good company.

This safety may be one of the best kept secrets in the west but there are some schools that are ahead of the pack and Arizona, Boise State, Utah and San Diego State have offered Westgate a scholie.

Westgate racked up 125 tackles, nine sacks, five forced fumbles, two picks and had two blocked kicks as a junior. His on field performance saw him earn all-league, all-CIF and underclass all-state in 2006.

"I'm leaning towards Arizona and Boise State. That's why I'm going to visit Arizona. I should make up my mind shortly after my visit to Arizona."
