Michigan a legitimate option for Staley

The evolution of Guthrie (Okla.) athlete Kye Staley has not been a conventional one. Standing on the sidelines during homecoming of his freshman year, only dressed in case head coach Rafe Watkins wanted to run the one trick play they had for him, Staley found himself catapulted into a major role and what occurred next foreshadowed the future the young man had.

Since that first season on varsity, Staley has only improved and now finds himself a major Division I prospect with interest coming in from around the nation. Big 12 programs like Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Kansas and Nebraska have offered the 6-0, 200-pound Staley, but so have national programs like LSU and Michigan.
