Williams learns plenty during Irish visit

Hafis Williams heard all the reasons to come to Notre Dame during his weekend visit to the Irish spring game. But what stuck with the defensive end from Elizabeth, N.J. was listening to a few reasons not to play college football in South Bend.

When former quarterback Brady Quinn delivers that message, it grabs the attention of every prospect in the room. Before watching Notre Dame stage the Blue-Gold Game before a record crowd on Saturday, Williams sat in the Guglielmino Center listening to Quinn talk about the pros and cons of a college career with the Irish.
