Rick Trickett offers blue chip Maryland OL

After loading up with seven offensive linemen in the most recent recruiting class, Florida State will will look for quality over quantity in 2008. One player who has garnered early interest from the 'Noles is 6-foot-5, 270 pound Lane Clelland from Owings Mills (Md.) McDonogh School. Clelland recently learned just how interested Florida State is in him.

Clelland said the conversation with FSU's new offensive line coach went pretty easily and that they talked about a few things that Clelland loves to participate in - football and wrestling.

He has offers from Florid State, Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska and Notre Dame.
