Buffs recruiting Schlink the hardest

Colorado recruited four interior offensive lineman last class and five if Florida product Mike Iltis stays on the offensive. Despite this solid effort, the numbers are depleted and the staff will have to add a few more to the O-interior this cycle. Zach Schlink (6-4, 295, 5.31) from Peoria (Ariz.) Centennial is the top lineman this year in Arizona and Colorado is hot on his trail.

Schlink was a first team all-state selection as a junior at offensive tackle. The other bookend was USC-bound five-star offensive tackle Kristofer O'Dowd. This year is Schlink's time to shine and he has eight, almost nine early offers. He has early written scholarships extensions from Arizona, Arizona State, Stanford, Colorado, Colorado State, San Diego State, Utah and Nevada.
