UGA still at the top after visit from Slaughter

Tucker (Ga.) safety Jamoris Slaughter has emerged as one of the top defensive back prospects in Georgia as we approach the spring of 2007. He has good size, delivers big hits, and has great ball skills in the defensive backfield. Many offers are in and one is from Georgia. He visited Athens on G-Day over the weekend and left with good feeling about the in-state program.

"When I first got to Athens, Coach Mark Richt called me, my parents, and my teammate Neiko Lipscomb in his office," said Slaughter. "He was telling us that he would love to have both of us there and he knew how we grew up together, so he even said we could room together."
