Video: Another Side of Curran - Part I

All the Dawg fans and many recruiting fans across the South know Georgia signee Rennie Curran for delivering big hits, playing sideline to sideline, and racking up big numbers game after game. Curran is not only outstanding on the field, but he is outstanding off the field. One of the things he does off the field is help third graders. UGASports.com will show you Another Side of Curran in this exclusive video.

This Part I of a three part feature on Curran. Many know him as one of the hardest hitting linebackers around, but he is much more than just a linebacker.

He has passion for kids, he loves to help others, and he is an even better young man off the field than he is football player on the field.

One of Curran's classes during the first semester at Brookwood High School was traveling over to R.D. Head Elementary to help Mrs. Foster's third grade class.

All of the kids in the class admired Curran, looked up to him, and really treasured the time he spent with them.

UGASports.com traveled over to R.D. Head Elementary to capture Another Side of Curran and to show you fans what Georgia is getting in him.

Part I will show Curran arriving to the school, getting the welcome from the faculty, walking into the third grade class, and him working with some of the kids. He works with them on poems, flash cards, and other activities during Parts I-III. We also have the kids in the class talk about Curran, what he has meant to them, and how he has helped them.
