Ward is a top junior lineman
The state of North Carolina has a few good prospects on the offensive line developing in the junior class. One name to watch is Justin Ward from Rockingham County High in Reidsville, N.C.
Ward is about 6-foot-6 and closing in on 280 pounds, and he is also an outstanding student in the classroom with a 3.9 grade point average. NC State was the first school to offer Ward a scholarship.
"But that came before Coach Amato was fired," Rockingham County head coach Lin Stadler said. "I'm thinking that Coach O'Brien will honor that although I have not heard for sure.
