Kansas lands two from home town

It didn't take long for Ryan Murphy to make a decision about his future. Once his hometown Kansas Jayhawks extended a scholarship offer, the 5-foot-10, 170-pound cornerback from Lawrence (KS) Free State High School gladly accepted. A few weeks later, his twin brother, Brian Murphy, gave the nod to KU. Jayhawk Slant just spoke to the four-star prospect about his signing day experience and, during our conversation; Murphy had a message for all Kansas fans about his plans for the future.

Murphy and his brother, Brian Murphy, the 5-foot-8, 163-pound running back are certainly looking forward to the future. After successful careers at Lawrence Free State, both are excited about staying close to home.
