Video Interview with Berry: Part II
Berry has his list down to Auburn, Georgia, Ohio State, Southern Cal, and Tennessee. He has over thirty offers, but narrowed it down to those five.
We traveled over to visit Berry on Wednesday and he was getting ready to begin a visit with Southern Cal. Ohio State had their first in-home visit with the Berry family Tuesday night, and Auburn, Tennessee, and Georgia visited Berry's home last week.
It is a very hectic time for Berry right now as he is getting closer to making one of the biggest decisions of his life. Between coaches visiting Berry, he took the time to sit down and talk with us about his season, his top five, his in-home visits, his official visits, his family, what he wants to play, what he will base his decision on, and much more.
Part II is even better as we talk more about recruiting, when he will take his final four visits, who will help him make this decision, how much his father playing for Tennessee plays into his decision, and much, much more.
If you were not able to view Part II of this exclusive video interview with one of the most talented prospects in the country, then here are some of his quotes.
"A lot of coaches have been coming by. I would say just about every school in the country [has come by]. If they were not seeing me, then they were seeing somebody else here. I've never seen anything like it."
"Yes, it has been pretty crazy. When you sit down and talk to them, you are like, am I really talking to Pete Carroll, or am I really talking to Coach Tressell. It is crazy."
"The schools that have been to my home are Georgia, Tennessee, Ohio State came last night, Auburn, and Southern Cal is coming tonight (Wednesday),"
When asked to breakdown an in-home visit, Berry said, "We always offer them dinner. Some of them eat, some of them don't. We usually just start off with general conversation, then we will talk about their season, my season, and then we will start easing our way into recruiting talk. Just their plan for me and what I can do at their program."
