Opposing coach: Huyge can be superb

The commitment this week of Grand Rapids, Mich., offensive tackle Mark Huyge surprised many Michigan fans who hadn't before heard his name. Huyge, in the lexicon of recruiting, can be considered a sleeper, but to those who have had to play against him, Huyge was a can't-miss prospect.

Detroit Country Day head coach Daniel MacLean was extremely impressed with Huyge and can see him fitting in well at Michigan.

MacLean was happy to hear the news this week that Huyge, who only recently received a scholarship offer, had committed to U-M. He is hopeful one of his own players, receiver/safety Chris Rucker will be afforded a similar opportunity.
