Gronkowski has good time on Clemson visit

One of the top priorities left on Clemson's 2006 recruiting board watched his first-ever game in Death Valley on Saturday. Tight end Rob Gronkowski from Pittsburgh (PA) Woodland Hills attended the contest against Maryland on an unofficial visit.


"It was good, very good," Gronkowski told Tigerillustrated.com in a Sunday afternoon interview. "My dad, my little brother and I flew into Charlotte, NC and drove to Clemson. We didn't get into the stadium until 11:50 (a.m.) and sat by the West Zone, which is nice. Actually it's really nice."
