Wolridge has a leader

Baylor is off to its best ever start in Big 12 play, following what was one of the best summers on the recruiting trail with 23 players currently committed to Baylor.

The Bears have been able to focus a little more attention on the 2008 recruiting class than usual thanks to the early commitments of 2007, and already have one commitment from Beaumont West Brook cornerback Mike Williams.

Thursday Lexington, Texas, defensive lineman Andrew Wolridge went to the mailbox to find his first offer letter from Baylor, and the Bears have already made quite an impression on the 6-2, 237-pound prospect.

While Baylor and Texas A&M are the two at the top, one team has emerged as the leader.
