Darren McFadden

6-2, 212 ~ Sophomore
Tailback
Little Rock, Ark.

Darren McFadden has been voted Top Hawg by the subscribers of HawgSports.com

after the Razorbacks' 20-0 week two win over Utah State University.

McFadden led the Razorbacks with 20 carries for 184 yards and two touchdowns, including a career long 72-yarder. He is coming off a serious injury to his left big toe. McFadden says he is still the same in terms of percentage of health, but he is getting used to simply dealing with and accepting the pain of playing with the injury.

There were high hopes for McFadden entering the season, and there was much concern after the injury, but he played in the first game to the surprise of most. He can take it to the house on any given play.

Chris Houston

5-11, 181 ~ Junior
Left Cornerback
Austin, Texas

Chris Houston

has been voted Top Hawg by the subscribers of HawgSports.com

after the Razorbacks' 50-14 season opening loss to the University of Southern California.

Houston led the

defense against one of the nation's best wide receivers, USC's Dwayne Jarrett, Houston basically shut him down and Jarrett finished with only five catches for 35 yards in the game.

Houston was beaten mostly last season against USC, and it was one of the best things to ever happen to him. He has been a different player since last spring, and it was easy to see the 450-pound bench presser would be a different player this year.
