Four-star corner enjoyed SC game

Four-star cornerback Donovan Warren (6-0, 175, 4.4) from Long Beach (Calif.) Poly has lived up to his reputation as one of the nation's top cornerback prospects.

As usual no one has tried to pick on Warren this season while manning his cornerback position but the talented defensive back is looking forward to this Friday's game when Poly takes on San Diego (Calif.) Mira Mesa and arguably the state's best wide receiver prospect in four-star Markques Simas, four-star tight end Nate Chandler and emerging senior quarterback Kevin O'Mary (6-3, 215).

"I'm looking forward to the match up with their receivers, but the most important thing is that we come up with the W," Warren said. "I'm going to do what I can do and hope things work out."

Warren is a member of the Rivals100 landing as the Nation's No. 55 player at any position for the class of 2007. rates Warren as the Nation's No. 5 cornerback in the country for the class 2007.

Warren also made the California top 100 and is raked as the Golden State's No. 6 prospect at any position from the Golden State.
