Transplant could be one of the best in 08

Brentwood (Tenn.) Academy athlete Chris Jordan, a recent transplant from the Atlanta area, could be one of the top recruits in the country for the class of 2008.

The 6-foot-2, 215-pounder has a solid build and is fast. He projects as a linebacker or running back at the next level and has the skill set to be special at both positions. Jordan recently moved to the Nashville area from Atlanta, where he was a standout for Norcross High his sophomore season.

"We moved up to Tennessee to be closer to family," Jordan said. "It's a big difference up here in the way plays are run. I got the ball more at Norcross because they have more depth at running back up here."
