Baker has a leader

Antwoine Baker, a speedy 6-foot, 171-pound cornerback from Jordan High School in Los Angeles, has narrowed his choice of colleges to three finalists: Washington, Nebraska, and Mississippi State.


A handful of other top programs, many of them Washington's Pac-10 rivals, have heavily recruited Baker too, but to no avail.


Each of the three schools has a near equal chance of acquiring his talents, according to Baker, but if one were to have a slight edge over the others, it's the University of Washington. A close follower of the program's rebuilding efforts, Antwoine Baker "want[s] to be a part of it."
