Evridge decides to leave Wildcat program
Sophomore quarterback Allan Evridge, who appeared in nine games last season and started six, has decide to leave the Kansas State football program. Evridge's decision to transfer makes him the third Wildcat quarterback to leave the program since the end of spring practice and leaves K-State with just two scholarship quarterbacks on its roster.
Evridge, who threw for 1365 yards and six touchdowns as a redshirt freshman last season, appeared to receive the fewest amount of reps among the Wildcats' three quarterbacks - a group that includes senior Dylan Meier and true freshman Josh Freeman - at last Saturday's open practice.
