Woods enjoys camp; bonds with top recruits

Summer camps have become a necessity for a number of high school players looking to make a name for themselves as a college prospect. But while camps and combines are growing bigger each year, many elite prospects are electing not to participate.


It's understandable why.


For the top prospects who already have 10, 20, sometimes 50 or more offers, or the ones that have already made a commitment, what do they have to prove?


Perhaps nothing.


But for Auburn tight end commitment Bailey Woods, there was certainly something to learn and plenty of good reasons for him to participate in Auburn's senior mini-camp a couple of weeks ago.


"It was a great camp," said Woods. "I had a good time and learned a lot. I also got to hang out with a lot of the other recruits there."
