Bruins have another rival for Griffen

Throughout the recruiting process, five-star prospect Everson Griffen of Avondale, Ariz., Agua Fria High School has said he was open to any and all schools whether they join the fray early or late. The 6-4, 266-pound athlete is staying true to that word, adding another school to his top group with a recent offer. A final decision, though, is still months away.

"Notre Dame just offered me last week," said Griffen. "I'm glad and most likely I'm going to take an official visit there. They are one of my top schools; in the running with the other schools."

Some of those other schools that Griffen mentioned as being among his top schools include USC, UCLA, Oklahoma, Arizona, Oregon and Michigan. UCLA is another team that, when asked about them, the five-star said will most likely be seeing him on campus this Fall as well.

"I'm going to take a visit there most likely too. I like the facilities there and it's nice," Griffen said. "They say that it's a program on the rise and they need great players to make their team great."
