Steinkuhler stands out

One of the most notable participants in the first session of the Big Red Football School was clearly Lincoln (Neb.) Southwest lineman Baker Steinkuhler. The 6-foot-6, 270-pound Steinkuhler took part in all three days of the first session and lived up to his billing as perhaps the No. 1 in-state recruit for the 2008 class.

It's only a matter of time before the scholarship offers start rolling in for the Husker legacy.

As most everyone knows, Baker's father Dean was an All-American offensive lineman at Nebraska in the early 80s, and his brother Ty is currently a defensive lineman on the team.

Besides NU, Steinkuhler has been receiving steady interest from Iowa, Iowa State, Notre Dame, Kansas and Colorado.
